Vic and Nancy Cangelosi, Honorary Chairs
Honorary Chairs, Nancy and Vito Cangelosi will soon be celebrating 50 years of marriage while living part-time in Sugar Land, Tx, Rockport, TX, Beaver Creek, CO and occasionally in Waelder, Texas. Embracing the traditions of close Italian family, they spend extensive time with their children and spouses, 4 grandchildren, as well as extended generational family, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
For 45 years Vito, Founder, Owner and CEO of Cangelosi Co. has taken a leadership role in the United States construction industry as an internationally recognized full service luxury provider and installer of quality international stone products. He has served on numerous construction industry Board of Directors and the company has been recognized, on several occasions, as a top Houston Family Owned & Operated Business by Houston Business Journal.
Now sharing the reins with their son Chris, president of Cangelosi Company, wife Marne, mother of their three sons, Trevor, a safety officer in the company, Andrew & Barrett, Vito is now able to spend more time with family and friends.
Daughter, Donae adopted her parents’ spirit of giving after watching Vito serve as Chairman and President of several service organizations while she attended high school. Donae gave 20 plus years in the family business until recently leaving to follow her dream in establishing The Vintage Contessa with husband Rob Chramosta, allowing her to spend more time as a mother to the only family granddaughter, Bella.
Nancy & Vito’s charitable impact in the community is most noted as active members and donors to Christian Churches and Education centers. They are past embers of Legatus, and are presently members of St. Lawrence Catholic in Sugar Land, Sacred Heart in Rockport, TX, St. Patrick’s in Waelder, TX and St. Clair of Assisi in Beaver Creek, Colo.
Vito is a member of the Texas A & M University Class of 61′. The company has been recognized as a Texas A & M Top 100 company. Vito has been honored as a Visiting Executive to the Texas A & M Mayes School Of Business. He, along with his dear friend, John David Crowe, designed the Football player position Donor Walls at the north side of Kyle Field. Nancy and Vito were proud to donate these Endowment Walls as a means to partially help fund future Texas A & M football scholarships. Vito and Nancy have been recognized by the 12th Man Organization as Distinguished Eppright Donors and are Legacy Members of the Texas A & M Foundation as well as members if the famed Texas A & M Former Students organization.
